The Problem Editors frequently rotated clips in the timeline without scaling them up to fill the frame, leaving black bars. Catching these manually was tedious.

What I Built Two scripts: a Premiere Pro extension that scans the active timeline and a DaVinci Resolve Python script that does the same. Both detect rotated clips, flag them with a color change, and use geometry math to calculate and apply the exact scale needed to fill the frame.
